This is for any pregnant person and their birth partner (whether that’s a partner, friend, doula, or parent) who wants to feel more confident and connected heading into labour. First babies, second babies, fifth babies — we know anyone prepping to give birth will leave with valuable tools to support their pregnancy and labour.
-
Please arrive anytime between 5:15 and 5:30 PM. We'll be starting promptly at 5:30, so give yourself time to settle in.
-
Tickets are £55 per couple with the Early Bird rate (available until June 10th). After that, it's £70 per couple.
-
A birthing ball, if you have one (we’ll have a few spares, just let us know in advance).
A non-stretchy shawl or large piece of fabric—something like a scarf, throw, or lightweight blanket. We’ll use it for movement and comfort techniques (think sifting, shaking the apples, and other gentle practices inspired by Spinning Babies). Stretchy fabric (like jersey or elastane blends) won’t work for this.
-
Yes! We’ll provide light snacks, water and a selection of herbal teas.
-
Strongly encouraged. You’ll be near Newquay, so why not book a table at a local spot afterwards? Some of our faves include:
Secret Garden (pizza spot with a view)
Jackson’s Wine Bar is just below the workshop venue and serves small plates (charcuterie, tapas-style dishes)
The Fish House Fistral (seafood restaurant right on Fistral beach)
We will wrap up promptly no later than 8pm, if that helps with reservation times.

We chose Friday evening so it doesn’t interfere with your summer weekend plans—plus, it sets a lovely tone for some quality time together.

Yes! We plan to run this workshop about every quarter. So expect another one in Autumn (depending on your due date, this may not work). Get in touch if this is the case and we can let you know about 1:1 offers we could provide before your baby arrives.
